Steel protection with safety brackets
The safety barrier is made of galvanised steel mesh, the other profiles of the barrier are made of natural anodised aluminium. The security barrier is available with either a hinged or fixed side rail. For example, the side rails of the opening barrier, which facilitates window cleaning, are fitted with railing locks, which are supplied with pre-set keys. The barrier has an aperture ratio of 81 %.

The mesh is galvanised steel mesh as standard and the other profiles are natural anodised aluminium. The Kalteri is also available powder coated in standard RAL colours. Painting is not recommended on the opening cage, as the paint rubs off when the cage is used.
