Doorson 500 EFS - Fire escape door with emergency exit function
In normal use, the Fire Sliding Door 500 EFS operates as a standard automatic sliding door, ideal for all working environments. In addition to its effortless daily use, it allows for fire compartmentation and emergency exit, turning the sliding door into a hinged door. The door is designed to withstand fire for either 30 or 60 minutes and is fully fire resistant on both sides.

A combination of functionality and security
Fire-resistant sliding door 500 EFS operates as a standard automatic sliding door under normal conditions, ideal for hospitals, workplaces, hotels, shopping centres and other public spaces where security is a priority. Its fire-resistant construction isolates the two fire compartments from each other, while also acting as a as an emergency escape route.
In case of emergency, such as in the event of a fire alarm or power failure, a mechanical spring system closes the door, which within seconds changes to hinged door. Safe evacuation is ensured by an automatically closing hinged door function.
The door is opened by pushing the door in the direction of exit. On the other side of the door, in the escape direction, the door opens by pulling on the embedded puller.
The hinge door function allows safe rescue of people and goods from the danger zone. In the event of a fire spreading, the door provides a safe barrier to prevent flames and heat from spreading to the protected side.
The door is designed to withstand fire for either 30 or 60 minutes and is fully fire-resistant on both sides.
